The FIFA World Cup 2022 is kicking off on the 20th of November 2022 at Qatar at the Al Bayt Stadium, with the hosts taking on Ecuador. Qatar and Ecuador belong to group A, and their game will be the first to be played.
Although the Kickoff date of the world cup was initially planned to be during Senegal’s game with the Netherlands on the 21st of November, the game of Qatar was brought in front to help them kick off the competition.
England will also feature on the 21st of November with their Iran game, starting about eight days after the Premier League shutdown.
